Project Type: Multifamily Residential — Kitchens & Bathrooms
Scope of Work / Scope Supplied: 299 Kitchens • 299 Bathroom Vanities (Multiple Unit Types, Including ADA Variants)
JY Furniture supplied and manufactured the full kitchen and bathroom cabinetry package for 1701 Market, a large-scale urban residential development featuring a wide range of apartment layouts and accessibility-compliant unit types. The scope included the coordinated production of frameless kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, factory finishing, hardware integration, and quality-controlled shipment for installation across all residential floors.
All cabinets were constructed using a durable 18mm LPL-finished particle-board system, selected for strength, dimensional stability, and long-term performance in high-traffic residential environments. Door and drawer fronts were fabricated as full-overlay flat-panel assemblies, finished on both sides for visual continuity and surface protection. Interior components feature white melamine MS101T, providing a clean, moisture-resistant interior surface.
The project incorporated soft close concealed hinges and ball-bearing undermount slides to ensure smooth, quiet operation and extended hardware life. Adjustable cabinet legs were included to support precise leveling on site and to accommodate construction tolerances across diverse unit conditions.
Cabinet finishes, pulls, and accessory components were fully coordinated to match approved control samples, ensuring alignment with the project’s architectural design intent. Multiple cabinet configurations were manufactured to support varied kitchen layouts, vanity sizes, and ADA-required applications, while maintaining consistency in finish quality and detailing throughout the building.
Through disciplined production control and integrated manufacturing, JY Furniture delivered a cohesive, repeatable cabinetry system that balanced modern aesthetics, high-volume construction efficiency, and long-term durability across this landmark residential project.
